| Varnish
All varnishes provide
a protective finish
after printing.
If you are not familar with Varnish applications, read the details on the right.
Request a varnish sample

person at Presskits.

GLOSS / GLOSSY
Glass like and wet looking.
SATIN
A look between a gloss and dull finish. There is some sheen to the sheet, but much less than a gloss look.
DULL
A dull finish provides no reflection on the surface and can be viewed at any angle, unlike a gloss finish.
BOTH GLOSS & DULL
Requires two separate plates on the press. Normally used with a SPOT varnish technique by making some areas of the page glossy and other areas dull. Makes the glossy area "pop" or "stand out" on the page. |
 |
OTHER
Click here if you require special varnish techniques, like tinting, etc. Describe your needs in comments box below. |
 |
| Lamination Type
If you chose a Varnish
for your finish, you do
not need to pick a Lamination Type. If you want a Lamination, Varnish will be deselected |
None – (no varnish or lamination) |
GLOSSY FILM
MATTE FILM

Film lamination is just that, film. A thin layer is applied using heat and pressure. It makes a very smooth, shiny looking finish and helps stiffen the paper stock. [blue color is just for show.] |
 |
|
None – (no varnish or lamination) |
GLOSSY UV
MATTE UV

UV lamination is a thick lacquer/liquid which is applied like an ink through a roller. A thin layer is applied and runs through a heating system quickly, to dry to a hard finish. It makes a very smooth, glossy, wet looking surface. [red color is just for show.] |

| Proofs
|
A Digital Acrobat PDF file is automatically provided via eMail.
[PDF distilling/processing is included in the
cost of your quote. In some
cases,
a Digital Color Proof/Match Print proof is
required depending on the complexity of your job. Presskits can help determine that.]
Digital Color Proof / Match Prints
[An additional cost may be applied for this option]

| Artwork Supplied |
My designer, advertising agency or design studio
is supplying the art files.
I am experienced with production layouts and my files are
electronically prepped and ready
for printing.
I am not sure of a few things so I need
Presskits to check
my layout before making a proof or printing.
I would like a professional designer to help
with my design/
layout and prepare my graphic files
for a proof/printing. |
